Odd the second option just redirects to the file itself it should be the same as clicking a normal file.

Hm, maybe i did something wrong then. The page turned white when i applied your fix. So i had to remove that code from the file again.Perhaps i inserted it in the wrong position?

Added a static code to make sure it is not called more than once. I wonder if for some reason your template files are getting executed twice some how...
